Gifts-In-Kind Gifts-in-kind (such as books, computers, sports equipment, tickets to special events) can provide valuable materials to the Club. We generally ask that all in-kind gifts be new items that have not been previously used. Gifts of Stock A gift of appreciated securities entitles you to a charitable deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities without paying tax on the appreciation. Employer Match Many companies have programs through which they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. Check with your company's human resources office to see if your company offers a gift matching program. Your employer should be able to provide you with a matching gift form to send along with your donation.
