Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston
Is Building Centered: Our programs take place in neighborhood based facilities that are easily accessible to our members and designed specifically for youth programs and activities. We even offer pick-up service at some of our Clubs.
Daily Activities: Members have the opportunity to attend and participate in daily after-school activities (Monday –Thursday 3-8 p.m. and Fridays 3-7 p.m.). During the summer our hours change and we are open M-F from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
We are not Fee Based: Children can become members and participate in all programs for only $10.00 a year. We do not discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or income.
Professional Staff: All Clubs are staffed by full- and part-time paid professionals. Every Club is directed by trained youth development professionals who act as role models and mentors to members. Volunteers provide key supplementary support.
